Chaim is actually the noun. Chai is the imperative form of the verb (also the past and present tense third person male singular, but whatever). Danny

Um, I don't really think Chaim Potok was a painter, despite his writing My Name is Asher Lev. Can anyone prove otherwise? Otherwise information really needs to be cited. 76.127.16.150 (talk) 00:14, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
