Charles and Susan White founded the Shadow Hills Cowboy Poetry Society (SHCPS) in 2004 where they host cowboy poetry nights on their small horse ranch in Shadow Hills, California. The forum provides newcomers, amateurs, and unpaid professionals an opportunity to present their cowboy poetry in an informal fireside environment. Photo is Charles White reciting an orginial work during the June 2006 meeting of the SHCPS.
