[edit] Summary
Screenshot from Champions Of The Magnificent City, the third scenario in Andrea Rosa's historic campaign Angkor Wat And The Khmer Legacy [1]. Uploaded with permission of the author under fair use license.
Champa invaders and their barbarian allies attack the Khmer civilization as they try to build a wonder (aqua allied civilization). The players goal in this level is to defend Angkor Wat until it is completed, and prevent the Champa from assembling a trebuchet by stealing one of the pieces (artifacts).
Looking closely at the image reveals the great detail put into the design of the map, including some subtle tricks such as placing trees on top of each other and underneath buildings. It is unique scenes and objectives such as these that distinguish scenario design from standard random map or multiplayer play.

See Wikipedia:Non-free content. To the uploader: please add a detailed fair use rationale for each use, as described on Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline, as well as the source of the work and copyright information.
