Chas S. Clifton is an American academic in religious studies and nature writing. He currently holds a teaching position in English at Colorado State University-Pueblo. Prior to this appointment he taught at Pueblo Community College. He is the author and editor of several books on the history of contemporary Paganism and Wicca and edits both The Pomegranate: The International Journal of Pagan Studies[1] (a peer-reviewed religious studies journal) and the Pagan Studies Series by AltaMira Press.[2] He serves on the steering committee of the American Academy of Religion's Pagan Studies Group.[3]
