Charlie McNeil (born August 8, 1937 in Caldwell, Texas) is a former American football defensive back who played five seasons in the American Football League from 1960 to 1964, in 1961 he had 9 interceptions, setting a Chargers franchise record. This stood until 2007, when it was surpassed by Antonio Cromartie.
