Charlie Hardwick

Claire Hardwick (better known as Charlie Hardwick born about 1959 Wallsend, Tyne and Wear[1]) is an English actress well known for her part in ITV's Emmerdale as Val Lambert. Charlie has a sister Called Elaine McMahon and a brother named Ronnie Hardwick (in real life). She also has a disabled son named Ryan who is learning to horse ride expertly at an RDA centre despite his disability.

She also starred in the 2000 comedy film Purely Belter, and won the best actress award at the Monte Carlo International Television Festival in 1998 for her role in the film The Scar, about a Durham pit community in crisis.[1] She also starred as Sian in Byker Grove and is a fan of Newcastle United Football Club, holding a season ticket at St. James' Park, before starting work at Emmerdale, which meant spending lengthy periods of time away from Tyneside.
