Charles William Jarvis

Charles William Jarvis (March 18, 1866 – ) was an Ontario banker and political figure. He represented Fort William in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1911 to 1919 as a Conservative member.

He was born in St. Eleanors, Prince County, Prince Edward Island, the son of Henry Fitzgerald Jarvis and grandson of Edward James Jarvis, the first chief justice for Prince Edward Island. In 1892, he married Marian Louise Powley. He served as secretary for the Fort William Board of Trade and was chairman of the Port Arthur and Fort William Street Railway. Jarvis was mayor of Fort William from 1899 to 1900. He also served as the United States consular agent for the District of Thunder Bay.
