The Honourable Charles John Foster Clotworthy Whyte-Melville Skeffington is heir to the John Skeffington, 14th Viscount Massereene and 7th Viscount Ferrard. He is heir to the titles Baron Oriel (UK), Baron Oriel (Peerage of Ireland) and Baron Loughneugh. He is also heir to the hereditary Admiralty of Loughneugh.
Charles is considered by Tatler magazine to be one of the most interesting men in London. He is also a noted furniture designer and expert in Asian Hard Woods and has set up the Javan Trading Company; one of his most famous designs is the Antrim waste paper basket, which is based on a design originally found in the family home Antrim Castle
