Charles Scorsese (May 8, 1913 – August 23, 1993) was an American minor film actor.
Scorsese was born Luciano Charles Scorsese in New York City, New York, the son of Teresa and Francesco Scorsese, immigrants from Polizzi Generosa, a small town near Palermo.[1][2] He first made his appearance Raging Bull in 1980 playing "Charlie", and made appearances in other gangster movies like GoodFellas in 1990 portraying "Vinnie", a character based on real life gangster Thomas Agro, and Casino in 1995. He married film actress Catherine Scorsese in 1933, and together fathered Martin Scorsese. Charles had made his last appearance in Casino, and went to live in New York.
Scorsese died on August 23, 1993, in New York City, New York, at the age of 80. His cause of death is unknown, some sources say natural causes will be the cause of death.
