Charles Rogers Greer (July 10, 1920 - April 14, 1942) was born in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1938, and as a private first class was on duty in the Philippines at the opening of World War II.

He was awarded the Silver Star for his heroism in the defense of Corregidor, and was killed in action 14 April 1942.
