Charles Sidney McCarthy (born August 6, 1980), also known by his nickname "Chainsaw" a retired American mixed martial arts fighter featured on The Ultimate Fighter 4. His official UFC record is 1-2, having lost to David Loiseau by TKO at UFC 53 while defeating Gideon Ray on The Ultimate Fighter 4 Finale, giving him his first UFC victory. McCarthy was eliminated by Pete Sell from The Ultimate Fighter 4. However, as the fight was a demonstration bout by Nevada State Athletic Commission standards, it did not count towards McCarthy's official record.
McCarthy announced his retirement from mixed martial art on April 24, 2008.[1]

- ^ "It's been probably the fastest maturing that I've done in my entire life," McCarthy said of the arrival of Zachary. "The second you're a father, it's like OK, now I have so much more that I have to do for somebody else than I've ever had to do for myself."
