Charles Huxtable

Charles Huxtable (Sept 30, 1891—July 29, 1980) was an Australian Doctor who served in both World Wars and wrote about his experinces in the book From the Somme to Singapore: a Medical Officer in Two World Wars.
He was twice decorated for bravery receiving the Military Cross and bar whilst serving in the Lancashire Fusiliers during World War I and during World War II he was captured in Singapore by the Japanese and imprisoned in Changi Prison.
