Charles E. "Abe" Abramson is a former member of the National Commission on Libraries and Information Science (NCLIS).
Abramson was appointed to the Commission by President Clinton in 1995, serving until 2001.
He is a founding Trustee of the Missoula Public Library Foundation (Missoula, MT).
