Charles Cecil Cotes

Charles Cecil Cotes (1846-9 August 1898), was a British Liberal politician.
Cotes entered Parliament for Shrewsbury in 1868, a seat he held until 1885. When the Liberal came to power in 1880 under William Gladstone, he was appointed a Junior Lord of the Treasury, which he remained until the government fell in 1885.
Cotes died in August 1898.
