Charles Benjamin Redrup

Charles Benjamin Redrup born in Newport, Monmouthshire in 1878 was an aeronautical engineer and designer of axial engines.
He was raised in Barry, Glamorgan where he designed and manufactured the “Barry” motor cycle with a rotary supercharged engine. This ‘Barry’ motorcycle was first exhibited in London in 1905.
