A charity sale is similar to a church sale where a sale is held for the purpose of raising money for an event or cause. The goods that are being sold are typically donated goods from generous individuals. The sale organizers and staff are usually volunteers for that event or cause.
The proceeds of the sale will go toward funding of the event that the organization wants to hold or the specific contribution to a greater cause.
In the United Kingdom, such a sale is known as a Bazar.
