Charcot-bouchard aneurysm

Charcot-bouchard aneurysms are a common cause of stroke. They are aneurysms in the small penetrating blood vessels of the brainstem and midbrain.They are associated with hypertension.The common artery involved is Lenticulostriate branch of Middle cerebral artery.
