[edit] Plot

Change 123 follows Makoto Gettou, a female martial artist. Orphaned at an early age, she was taken in by the "Three Fathers", a triumvirate of experts in all sorts of fighting skills. As a result of their rigorous training, she developed three distinct personalities, each individually skilled in the combat skills she learned. Now a high school girl, she is trying her best to lead a normal life.

[edit] Characters

Matoko Gettou is the series protagonist. She was trained by the "Three Fathers" in karate, swordsmanship, submission techniques, close quarters combat and the handling of firearms. As a result of their rigorous training, she developed three distinct personalities collectively known as "HiFuMi".

HiFuMi ("Hibiki", "Fujiko" and "Mikiri") appears when Matoko's glasses come off. The three personalities are in constant communication with each other, but cannot communite with Matoko. Hibiki is an aggressive tomboy skilled in karate. Fujiko is calm, almost cold-blooded, and proficient in the use of weapons. Mikiri is the child-like expert in grappling and submission.

Kosukegawa is Motoko's classmate. He is a fan of Shotaro Ishinomori's Kamen Raider and looks to emulate the hero. He takes an instant liking to Motoko and HiFuMi feel the same towards him. Since he knows of Motoko's situation, Kosukegawa serves as HiFuMi's liaison.

Kannami is another of Matoko's classmates and Kosukegawa's childhood friend, though the two are not as clase as before. He is also popular with the female student body, including Motoko. He is interested in HiFuMi, to the point he pushed Matoko off the school's roof just so he could witness the transformation.
