Chafford Hundred railway station is located in Chafford Hundred in the borough of Thurrock in Essex, England.

Located between the stations for Ockendon and Grays, it was opened in 1995 with capacity for future use of 12-car trains. Passenger train services are provided by c2c. Refurbishment of the station building to increase capacity was completed in March 2006. According to the Office of Rail Regulation's statistics, it is the largest station in the UK with just one platform.

[edit] Getting to the Lakeside Shopping Centre

A bus link from the station provided access to the Lakeside Shopping Centre until 2000, when a new footbridge over the A126 road and a connecting subway were opened. These provide a direct link to the shopping centre.
