[edit] why include all the Cypriot/Turkish relations stuff here

While a sentence might be appropriate, does this really need so much coverage in an article about a Turkish port city?

The article is not NPOV as far as I am concerned. The expression "Turkish public opinion is opposed to a deal" is e.g. pure speculation (is the Turkish Daily News article supposed to be the source for that?). Whether "national cause" means "milli dava" in Turkish is simply irrelevant and has nothing to do with Ceyhan. I suggest to transfer these sections to the Cyprus dispute page. Other suggestions are welcome. Let us talk about it. Letus 16:24, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

I've deleted all the Cyprus stuff- neither the Ceyhan governor's office nor the Ceyhan local council have any reference to this issue on their website. If they're not concerned then neither should we be. It's an international issue not a local one and needs discussing and covering in the Cyprus sectionsIstanbuljohnm 00:45, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
