[edit] Title for Isaac Newton Carleton

Isaac Newton Carleton was the Principal of the State Normal School in New Britain Connecticut (Now CCSU) 1869 to 1883. He received an Honorary MA from Yale University in 1872. He received an Honorary Ph.D. from Dartmouth in 1889.

I wondered if it would be appropriate to use the title Dr. in the Noteworthy Current and Former Faculty section of the article.

I'm not an academic, He is my ancestor.
