The original uploaded version of this picture was the correct orientation—the centipede was hanging down, under the eve of a roof. This is "normal" habitat for the spider; apparently the centipede crawled up to the spider's lair and nailed it there. This "view" apparently confused some readers. Reduced version of this photo.
