Central Organization For Railway Electrification (CORE), (Hindi: केन्द्रीय रेल विद्युतीकरण संगठन) headquarter at Allahabad, India. It is separate administrative set up has been functioning at Allahabad to be in overall charge of the Railway Electrification projects all over India. This organisation has been functioning since 1961 and is headed by a General Manager. It has various projects units currently operating from different locations Ambala, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Bangalore, Secunderabad, Lucknow, Kota and Kolkata.
