Censorship in Denmark
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Censorship in Denmark is prohibited as per the Constitution, ยง 77.
Any person shall be at liberty to publish his ideas in print, in writing, and in speech, subject to his being held responsible in a court of law. Censorship and other preventive measures shall never again be introduced.
This effectively means that there are no banned books and similar in Denmark. However, hate speech and libel laws do exist, and recent EU legislation regarding Holocaust denial may affect Danish hate speech laws.
