Cenin is a pioneering company which is manufacturing cement replacements from industrial by-products, generating power from renewable energy sources, providing analytical and testing facilities for industrial processes and developing a business park for similar low-carbon enterprises.
Cenin is helping to reduce the growing global problem of excessive CO2 on its site at Stormy Down near Bridgend in South Wales and aims to demonstrate that the SME sector can prosper in the low carbon economy which is the future.
Unlike existing cement replacements such as Ground granulated blastfurnace slag or GGBS Cenin Cement can be made from a wide variety of Industrial by-products and is flexible, being tailored for many end uses.
