Cem Özdemir (born 21 December 1965 in Bad Urach) is a German politician of Turkish descent, and a Member of the European Parliament for Alliance '90/The Greens, part of the European Greens. Cem Özdemir was voted the best dressed German politician for the year 2005.

Cem Özdemir has been member of the German Green Party since 1981. From 1989 to 1994, he was a member of the Party's regional council for the federal state of Baden-Württemberg. He was elected to the Bundestag in 1994. From 1998 until 2002, Özdemir was the Green Party's Parliamentary Spokesman on Domestic Affairs and chairman of the German-Turkish Parliamentary Group. He is married to German-Argentine journalist Pia Castro. Özdemir has written 2 books - "Currywurst und Döner – Integration in Deutschland" and an autobiography - "Ich bin Inländer".
