A detailed image of the CDV-720 Civil Defense radiation survey meter taken exclusively for Wikipedia from my personal collection (mrcomputerwiz). Top: The meter as seen by the user. Bottom: The retractable beta shield exposes the ionization chamber to allow the counting of beta radiation particles.
