[edit] Vermont vandals
Hi Cbvt - I have been meaning to write for a while as your edits have been so great! Thank you! I'm afraid that my revert on Ripton, Vermont was completely random, but I will certainly keep an eye on that user. I have asked some users with vandalproof to look in on VT pages because they seem to be such a target and vandalism has been less lately, so hopefully they will also catch on. Thanks again for your diligence and enthuasiasm! H0n0r 04:30, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Geography vandal
Thanks for telling me about the Janx Jrotum sock, he has been reappearing under many names in various north-eastern US geographical aricles.Blnguyen | rant-line 02:40, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] RC Patrol hates VCI
Arthemys and myself are desperately trying to figure out what is and is not okay to put in corporate related articles. We've read over the guidelines for it a few times but no one will talk to us. Think you could lend a hand sometime? Might need to contact you some other way then talk pages though. Give me a yell if you think you can, or just to give some ideas. See Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Vermont_Computing,_Inc. for more info on what's going on. I'm pleading with them to be constructive instead of just "Spammers!" but they seem to have more fun doing that than actually helping. -kvidell 03:20, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Greg Parke (DJ)
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Greg Parke (DJ), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. - PS Looking further at the history, I see that your original page had nothing to do with the DJ, and everything to do with the much more notable politician. Feel free to ignore the prod warning.--Kathy A. 17:25, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Alphabetizing Vermonters Category
Eons ago, you organized the category of People from Vermont alphabetically. Do you know of any way to allow all the subcategories to appear along with each subsection of the alphabet? I have a feeling that there is no way to do that, but it is confusing not to have the subcategories displayed first. Thanks. Student7 14:23, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Craftsbury map
I saw that the reason you sized down the Craftsbury map was so that it would display properly. It already displayed fine on my browser, but I've got a really really wide screen on IE. Could you tell me what the problem is in your browser, so I'm not as likely to cause formatting problems in the future? Nyttend (talk) 01:01, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Political divisions
I noticed that you had articles on all the legislative political districts in Vermont. That is nice.
I constructed templates for some of the Orleans County area which could segue into these if worded a bit different. See for example Template:Essex-Orleans Vermont Senate District, 2002-2012. The beauty of a template is that the article contains all the pertinent info without jumping to another article. However, your article has info too long for the town article which could be referenced.
If we can solve this for the state, I think that other states could consider this.Student7 (talk) 01:30, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- For amusement, take a look at Barton, Vermont (& history) to which I just (today) added a reference to your articles - I did it in the template, of course, which changes it "automatically" for all dozen or so town articles.Student7 (talk) 01:44, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
