CAW Local 1256 is a local union of the Canadian Auto Workers (CAW), based in Oakville, Ontario. It represents workers at a number of employers in that city, including public transit workers.
A member of this local union, Willie Lambert, is running for president of the CAW in 2006, challenging longstanding incumbent Buzz Hargrove.
