The term "cattle rustling" seems to be specifically North American; I will move to "cattle raiding", the generic term in wider use. dab () 18:26, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

Cattle raiding also played a significant role in early colonial Scotland and Ireland, I believe. Research about that would be helpful for this article.168.16.141.224 (talk) 17:44, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
