Talk:Castrum doloris
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The term is in regular use, at least in scholarly articles. I changed the typo baldachimes to the correct spelling. References abound on the web.
[Castrum Doloris of Emperor Rudolf II] in the Cathedral of St Vitus, Prague.
[Castrum Dolris of Pope Sixtus V] referenced in a scholarly article.
It seems clear that the entry wasn't just vanity. Lee-Anne 04:02, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
A castrum, by the way, also refers to a castle, or anything resembling a castle, which is, strictly speaking, a diminutive variation of the same word. Lee-Anne 04:05, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
