Fotografia tirada do cimo do torreão do Castelo de Palmela. Em primeiro plano à esquerda pode-se ver a antiga casa de Hermenegildo Capelo, em seguida, e novamente à esquerda pode-se ver a igreja de Santiago (com uma torre). Em frente, ainda em primeiro plano pode-se ver a Pousada do Castelo de Palmela. Ao fundo, a vista é sobre o Vale dos Barris, com a serra do Louro à direita e a Serra de S. Luis à esquerda.
