From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

House built by Casper Shafer (or Schaeffer), located in Stillwater, New Jersey. Shafer built a log cabin circa 1742 on the banks of the Paulinskill, later erecting this stone house c. 1750 then deconstructing and appending the log cabin to the southern side.

This picture was taken by a personal acquaintance of mine and is used with his permission. He's honoured to have this photo being used mostly because it's his ancestor's house.

This photo is originally from his website at http://www.abshafer.com which belongs to Arnold B. Shafer, the fourth great-grandson of Casper Shafer.
