Castro Verde (pron. IPA: ['kaʃtɾu 'veɾd(ɨ)]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 569.4 km² and a total population of 7,702 inhabitants.
The municipality is composed of 5 parishes, and is located in the District of Beja.
The present Mayor is Fernando Sousa Caeiros, elected by the Unitarian Democratic Coalition.
The municipal holiday is June 29.
