Castelverde (Lombard: Castegnìn) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cremona in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 70 km southeast of Milan and about 8 km northwest of Cremona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,153 and an area of 30.9 km².[1]
Castelverde borders the following municipalities: Casalbuttano ed Uniti, Cremona, Olmeneta, Paderno Ponchielli, Persico Dosimo, Pozzaglio ed Uniti, Sesto ed Uniti.
