The Casio Pocket Viewer 100 was a PDA manufactured by Casio in 1999, and was the first PDA in the Pocket Viewer-range, and the only Pocket Viewer which didn't have backlight.
[edit] Specifications
The screen resolution was 128 by 128 pixels, which was lower than similar Palm PDAs. The PV-100 had no text recognizing software built-in, so all text input is via an onscreen keyboard. There is 1 MB memory in it. It has a NEC V30MZ (20 MHz) cpu, compatible with Intel x86.
[edit] Applications
The PV-100 comes with these built-in applications:
- Scheduler
- Contacts
- Memo
- Expense
- 2 types of Solitaire
- Quick Memo
- Calendar
- Reminder
- To-Do
The PDA has no support for third party applications.
An interpreter/compiler called OWBasic does however expand certain pocket viewers from a PDA into a handheld programmable pocket computer. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pocket_viewer
