Casey-Lee Jolleys was born in 1974, Billinge, Wigan, Lancashire, England, UK but has spent most of her life living in and around Bolton. From an early age she would perform for family and friends.
"From the age of three I've always been the one holding the hairbrush and pouting," she says. "And I had so much energy that my mum would take me to all these different classes - so I was doing ballet class, tap class, jazz class, swimming lessons, horse riding, you name it, every single day of the week my mum was taking me somewhere. "And in the end she just said, Look, you're going to have to decide which one you're going to do'. And the local ballet school did a bit of everything and would put on shows every six months, and I got the bug then."
As a result she rapidly became a very talented young dancer/performer and succeeded in becoming World Champion 3 years running in not one, but three dance styles (Ballet, Tap and Modern) which led to TV appearances both in the UK and abroad, and all this at the tender age of nine years old.
With her foot in the door to television she went on to co-present the BBC Saturday morning TV program It's Wicked then going on to appear in the recurring role of Annie Mappin in the 1988 BBC TV series Gruey and it's sequel in 1989, Gruey Twoey.
In 1997 she returned to presenting, this time for the Channel 5 Children's TV show Milkshake! which she did for 2 years before starring as Jenny in the Channel 5 Children's TV show Beachcomber Bay (2001-2003).
More recently Casey-Lee appeared on the long running ITV soap Coronation Street in the role of Orchid/Stacey Hilton for which she won a Heritage Award for best comedy performance in a soap opera.
In April 2007 she teamed up with the comedian Bobby Ball of Cannon and Ball fame to open their own academy for dance, drama, singing and comedy in Casey-Lee's home town of Bolton.
