Casa de Sezim or Casa Grande Paço de Sezim, is located in Nespereira, 3km from the center of Guimarães, district of Braga.

Casa de Sezim entered to the belongings of the actual family in 1376, by donation, like documents of that year that can be viewed in the house's archives Maria Mendes Serrazinha made to Afonso Martins - D.Joao de Freitas descendant companion of the first king of Portugal, D. Afonso Henriques it can be read in that document, "to the well dones that received from him and hopes to receive for belief he made". The beauty of the House, the harmony of lines, the monumentality of his facade and the manually painted wallpapers from the first half of the XIX century that can be viewed in his halls.^[clarify]

Open all the year to the tourists, the House has a choice of 8 rooms and 2 suites. The lands that surround the house can be used for haunting or jogging, as they have different landscapes: forest, fields and also wine production.

By the main entrance can be seen the shield of Freitas do Amaral.

This house is classified by IPPAR as Imóvel de Interesse Público (deliberance of 31/01/2003).
