[edit] Welcome to Indian Butterflies Wikiworld :)
Hi Carlos,
Thanks for your edit to the references on the List of Butterflies of India. I have noted your edit and in future we'll keep this point in mind. We have noted it in our list of administrative changes for a rainy day (presently, we're in data filling mode.)
Welcome to the world of Indian butterflies. Its an exciting place. We're evolving on a daily basis. We're dealing with a 1000 plus butterfly base :) Yummm!. The three of us are AshLin, User:Shyamal and User:VirenVaz. We're tackling the Papilionids first to showcase our concept.
Please do have a look at some of our pages. We'd appreciate constructive criticism :-
- List of Butterflies of India (Papilionidae). This is the gateway to Indian Paps. Some of our better pages are :-
- Common Mormon.
- Red Pierrot.(Not a pap, a Lyc).
- Lime Butterfly.
- Spot Swordtail.
Lots of pages are under development offline. Recently, we've recieved a flood of photos by Indian aurelians like Dr Tarique Sani and Rahul Natu. Mr Nadan Kalbag has promised us advice on botanical aspects (my father-in-law :) ). Just give us a few months and away we'll go! We want to provide a good, reliable and useful guide to Indian butterflies for the amateur Indian naturalist. We did'nt have it when we began, we want our next gen to have it.
We request support from wikians, especially wikiaurelians like yourself. I notice you have an interest in Satyrids. Can you support us in taxonomic advice, mentoring etc regarding this part of our project. We're really lacking support in this field. India has a fascinating variety of Satyrids. It would really be valuable to us. We'll acknowledge you or keep it private, exactly as you desire.
Do continue to extend our support and visit us.

Some raw material on Calinaga from Indian refs sent by email to you. Please confirm receipt. We understand it to be a single species only. Is that no longer the case?AshLin 07:10, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Classification of Satyrinae
Hey Carlos,
May we request you to place a complete classification of the Satyrinae on that page. I saw your beginning of this task. Alphabetic listing makes little sense. BTW, we're preparing for WikiProject Lepidoptera. AshLin

[edit] Archeuptychia cluena
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Archeuptychia cluena, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.satyrus.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=13&Itemid=26. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 21:15, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
