Carolan Gladden is a writer, editor, author, blogcaster from Portland, Oregon who relocated to San Diego, California. In 1982 she authored "The First Book of Oregon Jazz, Rock & All Sorts of Music" and later "Be A Successful Writer." For several years she was senior developmental editor of major reference works with Harcourt/Academic Press. In 2007 she began a blogcast http://blogcast.on-the-upbeat.com geared toward personal and political musings.
