from Carson Daley:
- Carson Daley used the words, "just slapstick", to describe the violent words in 50 Cent's rap music, talking about, "slapping bitches". Carson was interviewing Bob Costas, who took issue with the violent words in rap music, especially to women. Carson seems to go along with the movement amoung many young people and media moguls, accepting present day violence in the media as passable for freedom of speech and necessary for the art to function. Violence towards women or speaking of violence,in any realm, is just plain bad behavior and the stuff therapy is made of.

- First of all, his name is obviously spelled "Carson Daly." It was at the top of the page the entire time you were writing. ::Secondly, you should have signed with your username. This isn't a "Letters to the Editor" section.
- I agree with you but this wasn't the place to say it. At all.

What does Carson's thoughts on rap music have to do with his MySpace page, John?Machine Man 08:42, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Vandalism?
"It is unknown how he got his own show. He possess no particular talent or trait that make him a good entertainer."
Somehow, this doesn't sound like normal Wikipedia text...but hey, I don't know much about the subject. It may be entirely true, and I wouldn't want to go around messing up a perfectly good article :D
I'll let somebody who knows more about the subject handle this :) JDS2005 07:52, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
- It is known how he got his show: his mother's connections in show biz land.
[edit] Reliable source??
The paragraph about Daly's weight loss cites www.starling-fitness.com as a source. While the web site does indeed mention the purported fact in the article, the website does not appear to be a reliable source to me. The 'after' picture looks like the type found in tabloid newspapers which are not considered reliable sources for wikipedia. Is there are more reliable source or should I remove the reference? 144.15.115.165 21:55, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Somehow getting a better picture
This definitely needs a better picture. In the current one, you can't even see his face completely! 76.217.109.179 01:14, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- And that is a bad thing? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.69.137.15 (talk) 01:48, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Returning to Air During Strike
Its certainly worth mentioning that Carson returned to the air before the other late night hosts during the current writers guild strike, but the way it was described in the article (Carson "breaking the WGA" with a joke hotline, which was clearly a joke) was disingenuous at best. I deleted the whole section and will let someone else worry about fixing it. 75.75.116.171 (talk) 06:57, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Misspelling in article
"vignette" the last word in the TV Show section is misspelled. I can't edit it because I don't have a wikipedia account. CT
[edit] My name is Earl
I only knew about Carson Daly becase of My name is Earl, in which Earl learns about Karma (erroneously) from seeing a short clip of Carson Daly being interviewed. Is Carson Daly a Buddhist? Should this be included on the page? Carson Daly plays such an important role in that program, shouldn't it be mentioned here? 86.143.22.237 (talk) 14:55, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
- There has been no reliable source that has been provided that would support the inclusion in the article. If you have one, feel free to link it here. TheRedPenOfDoom (talk) 16:09, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
