Talk:Carlos Alberto Torres
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I removed this passage because it's not true:
Carlos Alberto was the first mulatto (mixed race) to play for Fluminese. Alberto used to whiten his face with rice powder when he used to play. As the make-up started to come off the opposing fans started to chant "rice powder", which became, and still is the club's nickname.
This incident happened in 1914, and it was a different Carlos Alberto. /dylan 167.206.188.3 22:28, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
