The Fula example, while interesting, is misleading in the context in which it is presented, since Fula, while a Niger-Congo language, belongs to the Atlantic languages group, not to the Bantu languages.

- Yep, you're right. I'm pulling it out for now, because it really should be verified whether and where Meinhof does talk about Fula. If preserved, it could be in the following form:
- Meinhof also noted that West-African Fula, a far relative of the Bantu languages, has a noun class reserved for liquids.
