[edit] Requested move

The bay in Wales is the commonest meaning of "Cardigan Bay" and all others are derivatives of it. I have moved the old disambig page to Cardigan Bay (disambiguation) but could not move this one into its place. --Stemonitis 15:55, 25 November 2005 (UTC)

  • Oppose. Being a derivative of one place is not a reason to not have the dab page at Cardigan Bay. Given the large number of uses, a dab here is probably the correct solution. I suspect that those who link to the horse don't even know the bay exists. Sending redirects to a wrong article is not desirable. Vegaswikian 00:42, 30 November 2005 (UTC)
  • Support - this seems to be a clear case of primary topic disambiguation - bays are (usually) more notable than horses. Of the 22 articles currently linking to Cardigan Bay, only 2 appear to be referring to the horse (I'll fix these shortly), the rest are for the Welsh bay. Vclaw 11:40, 30 November 2005 (UTC)
