I can't right now verify the facts of the article. However, it does agree with what I know of some of the mineralogical myths, to the degree that I think it is probably valid. I am asking the Wikipedia:WikiProject Mythology people if they can come up with any sources. I can verify that it is mentioned in Jorge Luis Borges' book Book of Imaginary Beings.Badbilltucker 23:25, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
