Carys Parry

Carys Parry (born 24 July 1981 in Church Village) is a Welsh hammer thrower.
She finished sixth at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne with a personal best throw of 61.80 metres.
Her current personal best throw is 62.60 metres, achieved in June 2006 in Cardiff. This places her seventh on the British outdoor all-time list, behind Lorraine Shaw, Shirley Webb, Zoe Derham, Lyn Sprules, Liz Pidgeon and Lesley Brannan.[1]
