Cary Herrman (born December 22, 1973) in Peoria, Illinois is an advertising executive, author and philanthropist, associated with such organizations as Bono's the ONE Campaign and the Pay It Forward Project, helping to rebuild lives in developing countries.
Cary is the Co-Founder and President of Ocean Bridge Group, Inc., estimated at $265 million, it is the United States’ largest independent full-service marketing and media services agency.[citation needed] The agency has received a number of awards
- Excellence in Advertising and Media Planning, 2003 - Time Warner, Warner Bros.
- Precision in Advertising Placement, 2003 - Viacom, MTV Networks
- Outstanding Leadership in Media Planning, 2003 - CBS/Viacom, King World Productions[citation needed]
As a second-generation advertiser Cary began his career studying communication and rhetoric, later pursuing certification as a professional marketing consultant through the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), an active participant with the ECRM (Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing) and speaker at the NACDS (National Association of Chain Drug Stores). He was the first to launch InPerson technology onto myspace for Zapzyt, a skincare company and one of Ocean Bridge's clients.[1]
Cary’s first publication entitled, Past The Mind, Past The Heart and Into The Soul of Your Consumer: There Are No Limits, is set for publication late 2008.
