A small racecourse in the English Lake District. Meetings are held on the May and August Bank Holidays. Famous for the Gay Future 'coup' in 1974 that involved switching horses before a race and relying on the lack of communications at the course.[1] It is also known amongst racegoers for the track leading up to and away from the course.
