[edit] Carrie (band)
Carrie were a band fronted by former Levitation and Some Have Fins member Steve Ludwin, EMF Bass player Zac Foley (who later died of a drug overdose), Dennis Dicker and a drummer. Ludwin went on to form Little Hell with Dicker, a band erring on the darker side of pop.
They were signed to Island Records and released a number of singles and the acclaimed and highly underrated album "Fear Of Sound".
Their sound was categorised by a juxtaposition of glossy production and multi-layered harmonies with an often dark lyrical matter.
