Carolyn Parkhurst (born 1971) is an American author who has published two books. Her first, the 2003 best-seller The Dogs of Babel also known as Lorelei's Secret in the UK, was a New York Times Notable Book.
She followed that effort with Lost and Found in June 2006.[1]
Parkhurst received her B.A. degree from Wesleyan University and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from American University. She currently resides in Washington, D.C.[2]
